Hey Adrian! Roman here. Thank you for your order and feedback! If you don’t like how the closed version glows, I can offer you an exchange for the open glow version. However, it’s important to understand that bright sun with UV waves light is needed to make it glow as intended (or 380-395 nm wavelength source). Please email me if you’d like an exchange. I think you would love the open version more if you want a brighter glow! Thank you!
The ring looks fantastic, my fiance loves it! The packaging was well designed and kept the ring for safe the long distance it had to travel. The customer service was also amazing; my email was answered in less than a day with a clear answer to my question.
This is such a beautiful ring and the glow is so strong, it really shattered my expectations. Great job!
They don't glow quite as much as I hoped or thought they would from the pictures. The blue one glows even less.
These rings are so dope!! There's a wait in the process to get them and it is 100% WORTH IT! Slick in the daytime! I made it my wedding band lol
I found this sight on a Facebook add and figured it was some fake add trash but I like the Blue lantern corps and for the price I would take a shot.
I was blown away!!
this thing fits perfectly and the glow is unbelievable.
absolutely recommend this product and company.
The glow ring fits perfectly. The blue color is stunning as well! Definitely worth the wait!
This blue glow ring will probably be the last ring I buy because every time I buy one it looks nothing like advertised. I bought the V1. They missed half of the ring that was supposed to Glow. I received this one and the inside is completely black which is not advertised and the outer black parts of the Ring that are supposed to Glow. Do not glow unsatisfied.
Hi Brad,
Roman here.
The most important thing to know is that glow-in-the-dark rings need to be charged with light first.
The ring contains phosphorescent strontium aluminate crystals. They absorb energy from light, store it, and then slowly release it as visible glow in the dark.
Sunlight and UV light work best because they contain more high-energy UV and short-wavelength light than normal indoor lighting, so the crystals charge faster and glow much brighter.
Green Lantern is actually the strongest glowing ring I currently make. Green also appears much brighter to the human eye than blue. My BL ring, for example, appears roughly half as bright.
After charging, the glow is brightest at first and gradually fades, which is normal.
Please try charging it in direct sunlight or with UV, then take it immediately into a dark room. If you're still unhappy with it, returning it for a refund would probably be best. Sorry it didn't meet your expectations!
Cheers!
Roman
Love it! The ring is really cool, and charges up quickly in the sunlight. Also, the seller was very quick to reply when I reached out with a question.
Let me start by saying, ultimately I love Roman’s craft. The rings feel good. The design of the outer coat is clean and crisp. I can’t give this ring a five star for one singular reason and it wasn’t the delivery delay. Its simply the glow. No matter how much I try exposing it, it lacks the particle effect of the GL ring I love so much. The only glow it seems to provide is the center line and the insignia. Other than that, perfect.
I like it, Not sure what i expected, but the sucker sure does glow. I walk outside for maybe 1 minute and when i go back inside its glowing, even in a lit room. Time will tell on durability.
